any one used Perkin Elmer Diamond DMA for stress relaxation experiments ? Please share your details on how to perform the experiment. In literature most of the Stress-relaxation experiments were conducted by using either TA instruments or some other one, but never used Perkin Elmer why? Here are my attachments: #1. Maybe I can help you. The thing is, I also work with DMA, although not with Perkin Elmer. However, my DMA is from the SSI Technology family, and may have the same functionality as yours. Namely, for the stress relaxation experiments there is an option to test under constant (preset) deformation (L = constant). Then you have the opportunity to register the change in force F with time at different temperatures. And vice versa, when F = constant, one can measure L=f(t,T). Is it OK?
