Can anybody recommend a good way of storing aliquots of antibodies beyond just a box full of plastic bags? As we're aliquotting in low volumes we're using 0.5ml tubes, but want to keep the original tube with them for later reference, as such they can't be racked conventionally.
This is a problem I've had in every lab I've been in, I wonder if anyone has an innovative solution?

This was exactly my trouble when I was in graduate school. I now use 200 uL tubes in little ziploc bags in a box because... well, I couldn't really find a better solution.
For some time I was using 8-tube PCR strips and tearing off a single tube at a time. The benefit to this is that you can then rack the in a PCR tube rack, but as you rip more and more off the lids become less and less effective at keeping the tubes shut. You could try it, maybe your tubes are better.
