Kindly have a look at this word file. The table gives us an idea about the number of patients that were last time < grade 3 fusion and first time > grade 2 fusion in the upper thoracic spine and the lower thoracic spine according to the postoperative days. The postoperative days were divided into sub-groups each consisting of 90 days. Now how can I test the difference in the time to fusion between the upper thoracic and lower thoracic spine? Which test should I use? Thank you
Do a multiple linear regression of no.of days Y ( 1-8, ordinal) on vertebral level X1(categorical UTS = 0, LTS= 1) and fusion type X2(categorical grade 2 =0 grade 3 =1)
ie Y = b0 + b1X1 +b2X2
test b1 for significance (?b1>0)
.b1 gives effect of vertebral level
