Is there any statistical code to be implemented for calculating Size of Overlap Index or Spearman’s foot-rule or Likelihood measure Index for ordinal variables available in EXCEL?
Has anyone used similar code (implemented in some languages) getting data from Excel files?

Implementing the Spearman footrule in Excel would require: (a) converting each of the relevant pairs of scores to ranks (use =rank.avg() function in Excel); then (b) computing absolute difference of the ranks (= abs(column_x - column_y) in Excel).
But, why use Excel? All of these and much more may be had in the freely available R system (https://cran.r-project.org/)

Hello David,
We have done everything in SPSS for more common indices. The problem is the procedure..when you have an enormous amount of rankings, then doing that simple operation file by file is really tiring... Already, getting data from Excel to SPSS for a large amount of excel files and arranging simple operations on the SPSS outcomes was an infinite exercise of patience and fantasy. Data Analysis is really a tough job!! lol
