STAC plugin is working with qgis 2.6 version give a try

For QGIS 3, QGIS STAC Browser plugin exists in https://github.com/kbgg/qgis-stac-browser.

It is not available in QGIS Official Plugin Repository. So you have to build/install manually.

I've finally found this one: https://stac-utils.github.io/qgis-stac-plugin/

It can be easily installed also internally through the Official Plugin Repository.

Seems working well.
