I have been thinking in how to Speed up the performance in DC-DC Power Converter?, because I have a systems which has 2 DC-DC converters, the first one is working in order to obtaing the highest solar harvesting under a MPPT control and recharging a battery bank, but after it there is a second one DC-DC converter which is aimed to maintain the output voltage within the safe values range. Notwithstanding, I have noticed that the simulation go slower than I would like, in many cases it take bout a week for running a 24 hours simulation.
Could you help me with this issue?.

Which simulator/ program are you using? I don't think there is any problem with the circuit. I think the parameters are too big for the computer hence why its slow.
It is under MATLAB/SIMULINK developed in its library Simscape SimPowerSystems
Dear Tony Castillo-Calzadilla i will suggest you set you powergui in discrete. Also in Model Configuration Parameter there are many options just like solvel type, zero crossing, adaptive or non-adaptive algorithm etc. Choose the best one for you simulation attached in fig 1. And most important when you are running your simulation in bottom right corner you will see the solvel type during the running time click on this it will adjust itself according to your simulation shown in fig 2. These are the few options which may help your simulations to run in less time.

you have to look to the way you designed your circuit in matlab (library tool) simpower system tool will run in continues setting, therefore you have check carefully the setting of configuration parameters. in addition may need to reduce the time to 4 mins
