Did anyone come across this error message " Sparse matrix has bad column pointer array" . Recently i am starting to get this error and i am not able to find out a solution. If anyone has any idea pls help.
@Reddy: I think he is getting this error from LS-DYNA (from the tags), so there is something wrong with that.
@Hirak: Try running LS-DYNA on another machine; there is chance that you have a BAD RAM in your machine. Any other clue of how it began giving this error? Also try Googling, exactly, the error message to find some hint.
@Reddy and @Farshid Thank You for your valuable suggestions. Actually it is true that i am getting the error message in LS-DYNA. But, thank you Reddy Sir, for giving me information regarding sparse matrix. I will try to tackle the problem keeping in mind the both suggestions.
@Hirak: Also consider asking support staff of LS-DYNA, if possible. This is not an ordinary error type, by any means.
