Why are only either positive or negative voltage regimes (in I-V curves) considered to explain the SCLC in Ferroelectric Thin films?Why aren't both polarities of voltages considered?

What could be difference (in terms of SCLC) when one considers planar geometry than when compared to MFM geometry?
