Today I am very glad that I got my old and critical "comment" into PubMed - and originally in a good journal of applied physics. I remember how difficult and time consuming it was to get my comment through a peer-review process; for many months the journal couldn't find a peer-reviewer in this field, i.e. between nanotech and cell adhesion research. Finally, perhaps one of the Max-Planck directors or similar who I had recommended as reviewer, wrote a wonderful peer-review, even longer than my published comment, i.e. how accurate my view was. Too bad, one can not publish this peer-review on my comment. But I am happy since this was a long journey to get it published, and now also listed in PubMed.
