I want to measure the zn coating thickness on steel plate. Thickness of steel plate around 2.0 mm and Zn coating thickness around 0.05 mm. some one can tell me the most easy method to measure the Zn coating thickness. If you can send me standard (PDF) I am glad.

If you can perform an invasive analysis on your samples, I would consider interesting the ASTM standard B487-85 (Reapproved 2013) titled "Standard Testing Method for Measurement of Metal and Oxide Coating Thickness by Microscopical Examination of Cross Section" that you will surely be able to find in the format you prefer.

you can use SEM with cross sectional view of coated sample after immersing in epoxy resin
You can use the scanning electron microscope but after cross sectional view. Then you can use either SmileView or Image ProPlus software programs to measure the exact thickness in any area that you prefer.
You can try to either mentioned software and learn them how to use them through online demonstrations.
