Sole Proprietorship is very very challenging in Tamilnadu, because of the following reasons:

1.Sourcing of finance is difficult.

2.They have to provide credit facilities for the customers to retain them.

3.As an Individual the sole proprietor has to run the entire show from purchasing to selling of goods in his shop.

4.Competition is very high in unorganized retailing and lot of modern retail formats are mushrooming with lot of value addition which makes it difficult for the sole proprietor.
