I am trying to find a way to study/review a neural system for which I am gathering all the information I found from the existing literature concerning proteins, receptors and brain regions involved.

In order to make it more efficient I would like to use an Interactive 'software' allowing to gather all those data in order to have a general overview of the links.

For example, by selecting a specific target, from an interactive interface, I would like to see all the interactions it has (projections received, different receptors, different behavioral outcomes...) and then being able to navigate between this network.

Does anyone knows a tool that might be useful for this?

I saw that there are some "pathways" software for GWAS data (Article A Review of Pathway-Based Analysis Tools That Visualize Gene...

or http://bioinformatics.ai.sri.com/ptools/ptools-overview.html), but I think they require different inputs.

Thanks in advance!
