Interesting topic, article and response. As mentioned, planning is they key. Social media is a reality and education cannot ignore that. Appropriate planning can make it useful and not time-wasting.

I do agree to some extent with Konstantinos Karampelas idea that plan in the is paramount if one is to use social media to promote technology usage for the purpose of learning. Apart from planning one need to be very selective in the type of social media to use basing on the category of students or learners he or she is addressing. otherwise the objective of the teaching and learning my not be achieved as expected.
