Depends on the size of production. For smaller producers, growing unique and high quality products can then allow them to sell directly to the consumer or to local restaurants and stores at a premium, eliminating the middle man and increasing profits. Farmer's markets and roadside stands are often a successful outlet for these products as well.
I agree with Paul Wagner. Farmers can sell their products directly to local grocery stores, restaurants, and markets. This practice has been successful in some places in my country.
I think that major smart solutions for the sale of agricultural products are the effective implementation of Smart Farm, IoT, unmanned vehicles (UGV and UAV), and Artificial intelligence for Decision Making, to Control IoT and processing of Big Data.
