What mathematical tools are available to design the slot antenna? What approach should I follow?
Iam using HFSS for antenna designing.CST microwave studio may be helpful.

I am not sure what frequency you are interested in but a thin slot in a metal conductor is about a half-wave long (reduced by the loading of any dielectric substrates). . It is probaby a good idea to build and test some slot antennas to get a feeling for how they work. Of course, an analysis using CST,HFSS, FEKO, COMSOL is also a good idea.
Please refer to the paper "Improving Radio Performance in Wireless Applications Using Slot Antennas" by Gerardo Gonzalez Wireless Design Magazine Jun 09, pp. 12 - 13. It shows some neat slot antennas built on plain FR4 material on a two layer PCB.
Use HFSS or CST Microwave Studio. You can use aperture/slot coupled technique for your design. It gives you better results than other techniques of patch antenna.
It seems you need a package for Slot antenna design rather than analysis. if so, I recommend you to use Magus package for this aim. However, it is better to learn how to design slot antennas on your own. Antenna Magus is the tool which use the environment of CST. Definitely Magus is better for basic learning.
