In Matlab you can go to simulink then depending on your parameters you can select any block required from Simpower library.

Thank you for the help,

I want to use single phase alternator to charge automotive battery and for this simulation, I am new to electrical circuits in automobiles actually.. unable to decide if such system is even feasible with single phase charger also couldn't find such an alternator in simscape/simulink. Could you please help on this?
