Whether the Si/Al ratio of any zeolite will increase or decrease before and after synthesis...? . I attached BEA zeolite synthesis procedure from zeolite associate where Si/Al weight ratio was decreased post synthesis and where as for other zeolites Si/Al weight ratio is increased. What is difference please explain..?

In order to synthesise a stable zeolite structure, Si/Al mole ratio should not vary at any stage of the synthesis. First of all, the synthesis calculation is based on Si/Al mole ratio and decrease in mole ratio after synthesis indicates on unfinished crystallization (check the crystallization time) and insufficient washing of the final product.

I am not sure if this relates to your case, but, in case of slag making or glass making we usually melt oxide components (CaO, SiO2, Al2O3 etc.) in a high-melting crucible. The crucible is dissolved to the melt at high temperature and changes the concentration or ratio of the starting material.
