COVID-19 related fatalities and pathological autopsy in medical centres have revealed thrombosis phenomenon extensively in lungs and kidneys. Considering fulminant and widespread thrombosis manifestation in the disease, it may be safer to add anticoagulant as routine protocol in any surgical intervention to reduce the risk of thrombosis. This practice may be incorporated as a protocol for safer surgery to reduce complications.
