Many reputed journals are charging high processing fee from scholars. It becomes difficult for a young scholar to pay the high fee and remain in uncertainty. What is your opinion(s) on this fee?
This question has been discussed many times before. See my reply in https://www.researchgate.net/post/Why_do_journals_request_authors_to_pay_article_publication_charges_before_publication_and_require_authors_to_pay_before_access .

I can see that journals often need money to support their work but I have often found journals with no publication fees. That is satisfactory for me because I am not in a hurry and can wait until I receive the returned review(s) but I realise it is more of a problem for newer researchers or those who need it to fulfil the requirements for their degree and need to get it sooner than what I would.
