Should the age of master's certificate (MSc, MEng. Mtech, M.A, M.S, M.Ed etc ) be used to determine PhD enrollment ?
This question is very crucial at a time like this, I wish to know if someone that have obtained his/her Master's degree in the past 15 years or above 20 years ago be allowed to enroll for PhD nowadays if the person is not in academic setting or system.
Won't the knowledge acquired and the system he/she used during his Master's degree in the past 15 years be regarded as outdated, obsolete and archaic.
It is very certain that the person can no longer align his/her expertise to this current and contemporary technological development especially when everyone is yearning and craving for industrial 4.0 in all ramification of fields.
I will like to get your views on this.
