It is common for dyslexic students to be given copies of written learning resources in advance of teaching sessions, so that they can prepare and don't need to be given extra reading time in class.

Should we be supporting dyslexic academics in a similar way by providing written materials such as conference papers and posters in advance?

Are dyslexic academics being prevented for engaging with scholarship and professional development as effectively as their non-dyslexic peers because there is a lack of support?

I'm interested in the views of both dyslexics and non-dyslexics.
