To study HCV Viral Load regular study
It is always better to use non haemolyse blood to avoid intereference.
I thinks its not possible to do that
Need RNA
Can be done with old dried blood
Possibility after hemolysis can be as RNA remain in blood
Dear Sir,
EDTA is not PCR inhibitor in contrast to Heparin. In principle hemolyzed blood sample are subject to contamination with red blood cell content or component and can false test result....
For HCV quantification I proscribe hemlyzed EDTA blood sample.
Hcv can be done in both serum and blood
EDTA to prevent hemolysis
Need RNA which present in serum mainly and preserved in dry blood
thanks all
