As i know, the investing decision into a project depends on many aspects which including some mains:

- The expected returns that including the IRR, NPV, PP, DPP analysis

- The expected risk of this project that is analysised in scenerios analysis, sensibility analysis, the best and worse analysis and so on

- The unique requirement which depends on projects: such as a company may not invest to a project that harm for environment

So, that the sensibility analysis is a part of risk analysis in deciding investment
