first of let me tell you few steps for collection of Semen
1) Training of the cockerels is required after 18-19 weeks of age by removing the feathers around the vent
2)After removal of feathers from the vent area ,gently massage at the cloaca of the cockerel
3)On gentle massage at cloaca,cockerel will try to exhibit its vent or it will get protruded. This training will be continued for 1-2 weeks
4)Semen will be collected by milking of vent of cockerel gently with the help of index finger and thumb.
5)Semen will be collected and Insemination has to be done immediately
6)At least two persons will be required to collect the semen from cockerel,one will be holding the bird and other will be milking the semen.
7)The person engaged in semen collection at one shed should not be allowed to visit the another shed on the same day for bio-security reasons.
8)Male cockerels should be provided with selenium and Vit.E supplements during the process of semen collection
9)Semen should be free from droppings of bird as it will contaminate the semen

Dorsal massage is working most of the time. However, we need both trained person and chicken to do this.
The difficulties of untrained rooster is that its usually easily agitated when being handled by human. We need the animal to be relaxed to collect the semen voluntarily.
Also, the more frequent we collect the semen, the more the testes produce it. Thus, it will be easier from time to time to collect the semen.
So, I think a forced dorsal massage performed by two persons is the most feasible way for totally unconditioned rooster.
