I search methods for calculating probability of failure. Unfortunately my data granularity is not that good. (MTBF available).
In a second step I search methods of methods for calculating impact of machine failure for a whole manufacture :)

Thx for your respond. I write my master thesis about a sustaining exchange roadmap in the industry. The problem is that a specific process step has a lot of end of life tools (have no state of the art technology, no more spare parts delivery from supplier, no service from supplier anymore). Now my task is it to priorize which machine will be phased out first regarding risk management. For this I had the idea to calculate the probability of failure for each machine (non reparable) and furthermore the consequence of failure for each machine . Unfortunately it is not so easy to calculate the parameters due to bad data availability (I have not enough data for non reparable components of a machine). Now I search different methods (best case: very generic) to determine the mentioned parameters.
