I would suggest you to explore more on SCOPUS vs Web of Science (WOS).
Reason being: They are most widely used indexing platforms for all of the bibliometric/scientometric studies. Also, research community highly rely on these databases.
Straight forward differences are:
Scopus Indexes all kind of conferences (even not ranked), journals, books etc. So technically that would give you a huge repository of indexed publications.
WOS, on the other hand, contains only quality publications i.e. journals with SCI- E-SCI and SCI-E indexed, international conferences with core ranking etc.
Scopus is comparable to Web of Science owned by Clarivate Analytics and not to Springer. Scopus is the abstracting and citation database owned by Elsevier, which covers nearly 35,000 peer reviewed journals from diverse disciplines. Scopus is available through subscription only, but it also offers free features to non-subscribed users through "Scopus Preview".
Springer is part of Springer Nature, a global publisher. Internationally acclaimed journal “Nature” is now part of Springer. The main domain of Springer is publishing journals and books. However, “Springer Link” provides access to scientific documents from many journals, books, reference works and proceedings, but it does not maintain an abstracting and citation database.
