Areas of partnership of public - private partnership in agriculture could be in areas of promoting new crops varieties, pesticides, insecticides or new fertilizer unknown to farmers on the market. In this sense a private company can involve the staff of the agriculture ministry to promote such agriculture products on the market with a clearly spelt role while the private sector could also finance implementation of such programmes. This will provide a win-win situation to both entities.

Ours is Agril Microbiology & Biofertilizer Projects , Anand Agricultural University , Anand working on Agriculturally Beneficial Bacteria as Plant probiotics . Through Decades of Research , we have developed Liquid Biofertilizer and BIO-NPK consortium Technology which is commercialized to Agri-preneurs for the benefit of end users the farmers .

My opinion is: the partnership between public - private in agriculture throughout training all members in laboratories of ministry of Agricultural and then promote such agriculture products on the market with a clearly spelt role

In an ideal situation all policy and regulation related tasks should be done by public sector, while all business-related activities should be decentralized to private sector for efficiency. In that sense, extension services may be privatized within a established set of regulation to bring about the efficiency. This is my view and best regards.
