Public policy for science communication , with main objective to contribute to the improvement of science communication and science education in the country is required
Among the core objectives of a policy of popularization of Science and Technology shall include contributions to improve and facilitate the updating / upgrading of science teaching at all levels of education , with emphasis on actions and activities that enhance and encourage creativity , experimentation and interdisciplinarity
The consolidation of a culture focused on the enhancement of science is important for the evolution of a country's own condition. But science , by itself , does not solve the serious problems of social inequality , unemployment , environmental degradation , not to mention ethical problems . Science and technology do not necessarily mean more justice , more equality and better living conditions . It is worth remembering Einstein : "Do not overestimate science and its methods when it comes to human problems ( ... ) The intellect has a sharp methods and tools for the eye, but is blind to ends and values "
