Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with my S2 cell culture. They seem unhappy after 2-3 passages. They appear smaller, less round and blebbing shape and they seem to be secreting some sort of biomolecule that causes the bottom of the t-flask to have an off-white plaque. It is not bacterial contamination.
Here are the conditions:
We are using Scheinder's media with pen/strep 100ug/ml and insulin.
The cells are kept at 27 degrees.
If anyone has tips on how to keep these cells happy that would be fantastic.

Im having same problem. They grow very slowly, secrete some white stuff and are growing in clumps in the middle of the plate. Did you solve this problem?
