In my opinion, it is difficult to separate personal reputation from corporate reputation. A person working in a company "which has a good name" will gain positive addition to her/his reputation. A well-known good honest man/woman, employed by a firm, will impart a fine reputation upon the firm.
In fact, the policy of grafting a bad governmental cabinet with 1-2 good ministers is adopted in many countries by "crafty" politicians !
I think, there is big difference between the two terms: social reputation and academic social media! so do you mean the second term in your question? since we are all academic researcher in the RG platform and very far way from pure social interaction like other non academic social media!
Reputation does not differ from being social or individual or for company
As long as it means having an accumulated historical meaning and perception about the corporate or individuals inside this corporate, so it can be measured by the characteristics of those individuals inside this corporate.
