Pseudorabies in hogs, has been considered as a carrier virus, to add a
SARS-Cov-2 moiety to it, for a vaccine against COVID-19 Pandemic. For example, the spike protein when added to the virus would theoretically stimulate an immune response to the SARS-Cov-2. The Pseudorabies virus in hogs, is either not a human pathogen or is attenuated for human use.
This is interesting, because the antiviral treatment for hog pseudorabies virus, is in fact resveratrol. It is a proven antiviral, at least in this situation. I propose further research into this antiviral to see if it is effective against the SARS-CoV-2. An excellent source of this chemical is red grape skins, or dry Red Wine. Another interesting study may be to see if daily mold to moderate drinkers of Red Wine, are prophylactically protected against this NOVEL CORONAVIRUS. The latest research suggests that they are currently also protected against neurological and cardiac degradation as well. See today's JAMA.
COVID-19 vaccine using a deactivated rabies platform is a novel idea as it is known for good protection and inactivated rabies vaccine is approved for the whole population including children and pregnant women.

Very good, I am glad people are working on it. Rabies was one of the first Pasteur worked on almost 200 years ago.
This is different though. This is porcine pseudorabies, that has self attenuated.

July 22, 2020:Apparently, the B cell response to SARS-CoV-2 is not long-lived, maybe 3 months at best, with antibody levels, especially important IgG dropping rapidly. This is a problem with both infection and initial tests with at least one of the vaccine candidates in testing with Rhesus monkeys. Thus, perhaps a vaccine that stimulates more of a T-cell mediated immunity will be longer lasting, such as would be the case with the pseudorabies-type vaccine. There are over 500 plant derived compounds that are being studied for antiviral properties, including against SARS-CoV-2. I t would take a book to described them all. I will only mention a few here. Many others can be searched on the web. First, natural quinine is plant derived, works very well as an antiparasitic, and is the drug of choice when hydroxychloroquine resistant malaria is present. But it is also antiviral, and eradicates the SARS-Cov-2 in vitro experiments. It has been used successfully anecdotally prophylactically, but there are no published double-blind placebo controlled clinical human experiments yet. Then there is resveratrol, again shown to kill SARS-Cov-2 and other coronaviruses in vitro, but not yet published in a well controlled double-blind placebo human clinical study. Nothing is accepted until this gold-standard is met. Coincidentally, resveratrol is used in its natural state (grape-crush) to treat another virus in hogs, "pseudorabies" as the usual "drug of choice." Pseudorabies virus is a candidate for the 'attenuated' carrier virus for a potential SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. The third I will mention, is the chemicals in "black tea." The extract has been shown to eradicate SARS-CoV-2 in vitro, probably due to n-methyl xanthines it contains. Again, no 'gold-standard' studies have been published on this yet. I will point out that currently these should not be considered as treatments or cures, with the information so far showing that they may have some prophylactic properties that may be found to be useful after further clinical study. This is suggested by some anecdotal information to date. There are no studies as to the dose required in the 'gold standard.' A similar statement could be made for hundreds of other plant derived antiviral chemicals. (An anecdote as to the dose question is this: 65% ethanol also kills the SARS-CoV-2; but the amount needed to kill it in a persons body would probably kill the person. Said with caution. The infection itself seems to only provide short-lived immunity, if at all. We do not have the vaccine experience for over a few months yet. It may be short-lived as well. Time will tell. In the meantime, work with other methods of vaccination should be ongoing. A more robust T-cell response may be desirable for long-term immunity. Maybe even the one based upon the carrier pseudorabies. Note that Pasteur's initial rabies vaccine which he derived from phenol attenuated live rabies virus still works well after almost 200 years! why don't we vaccinate by self (after infection)? by attenuating/deactivating a virus within our lungs. Inhaling NaCl is found to be helpful in the case of asthma. Here is a possibility that by inhaling heated NaCl crystal particle can manage airways, can deactivate COVID-19 in the lungs/pulmonary system, and consequently develop an immune response against COVID-19

Thank you. I have some questions. I don't know that we can self-attenuate the virus in our lungs. It seems that more likely we would get the infection COVID-19. With its concomitant morbidity and mortality rate. Long term sequalae are most probable. Also, the immunity from infections may only last for three months, resulting in reinfection with re-exposure to the virus. I believe the inhalation of sodium chloride solution is physiological humidification. I really cannot recommend inhaling NaCl crystals, as I have seen major lung disease from people inhaling these type of crystals in the desert. Again, thank you and keep working on it, experimentation?
Please check one more slide with the statistical information: after 6 months of pandemic statistics of covid-19 cases have been showing fantastic stability in being largely confined to the 30-50 degree belt (92%-97% of the world's totals).

Virus deactivation (in tissue) by NaCl is based on the previous research articles. I have also included some references that NaCl crystal particals can reach to lungs.
Self attenuation is my hypothetical statement.
I think "immunity from COVID-19 infection will not last for three months" will also applicable to the vaccine, whole world is rushing to. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Sorry I was not aware of the diseases caused by inhaling NaCl crystal particals. Although, according to my hypothesis and openion, quality and quantity of NaCl crystal particals has to be varified and should be managed with a proper protocol.
As my idea is not appreciated by any one so I am not getting any support or lab for experiments. My working area is Neuroscience, i can't perform virology experiments in my lab.

Virus deactivation in tissues by NaCl is already well-established by many researchers. Continuous dry heating of bulk of salt in an iron pan leads to micronized NaCl structure and enables it to fly into the pulmonary system. Please do not confuse with Halotherapy or NaCl fume inhalation, in that NaCl crystals are breaking into the size of less than 3μm PMID: 26551167. Micronized salt structure will be much higher than 3μm. If we inhale micronized salt through the mouth, like inhaling bronchodilators drugs in case of asthma, it may reach the pulmonary system. Please also do not confuse with saline or salt water gargling, we can’t take saline water in our pulmonary system.
