My SEM/EDS/EBSD systems recently have EBSD equipped. But as a new EBSD user, I am not yet familiar with EBSD sample preparation. Could, therefore, anyone share your own experience in the sample preparation and why the orientation needs to be 70 deg. during the measurement?
