In TEM you are free to play with a single particle .... but in XRD we have to play with bulk only.

As your particle size is in micrometer ..... if this particles contains some grains ... than you will get the misorientation relationship between the grains .....

SAD patterns are highly useful to get the misorientation between the matrix and second phase particle. misorientation between the grains ....which clearly infers the formation of textures ......
