we are able to run Simulation in side HEC-HMS WITHOUT ITS GUI by using :compute.script
from hms.model.JythonHms import *
OpenProject ("Test1", "C:\HEC-HMS\Test1")
Compute ("Run1")
Exit(1)
How to run the Forecast Alternatives in side HEC-HMS WITHOUT ITS GUI by using :compute.script
from hms.model.JythonHms import *
OpenProject ("Test1", "C:\HEC-HMS\Test1")
Compute ("Forecast")
Exit(1)
it is not working .

Where are you guys running the following script?
"from hms.model.JythonHms import *", cmd or python?
In cmd it is saying 'no viable alternative at input"
and in python it is saying 'No module called hms"
Is there any other way? If yes, please let me know.

When I use the code listed in the HMS manual in a compute.script file:
from hms.model.JythonHms import *
OpenProject('ProjName', "")
Compute("ProjSim1")
Exit(1)
Invoked by at .bat file containing:
hec-hms.cmd -s \compute.script
I am greeted by the console complaining that it cannot find the main module..
This says to me that the script file is successfully called, but upon trying to import the hms.model.JythonHms library, it fails
Anybody have any ideas?
Let me know if you need more info to answer this question.
