RNA yield for C2C12 cells?

Hi everyone, I want to quantify RNA content from 100000 C2C12 cells. I am using Trizol method, not sure what the normal yield is from 100000 cells. Any advise? thanks

Hello Nonhle Dlamini

From 150,000 C2C12 cells/well seeded in a 12-well plate which on reaching 95% confluency is expected to give around 5–7 µg of total RNA.

The below attached article indicates total RNA yield as per size of the culture. Based on this information, you may be able to calculate the approximate yield from 100,000 cells.
