Hello,

I am working with resistant bacteria and I saw some explanations about it origins. One of them is the use of antibiotic in cattle farming.

So about this, I would like to ask you the reason of this link between antibiotic in cattle farming and resistant bacteria in a public health impact.

When we say that one of the reasons for having bacterial resistance is because of the use of antibiotics in cattle, so I wonder if:

1. This issue is related to resistant bacteria selection in the cattle and then can be transmitted to humans;

2. This problem is related to the antibiotic that is present in the meat (or dairy foods) of the cattle we eat and so the bacteria are selected within us.

3. The antibiotic used in cattle remains active after you eat the meat? (There is the presence of antibiotic in milk, meat, eggs, etc?)

4. The antibiotic that cattle receive may be excreted in the urine and influence on bacterial resistance in the environment?

Do you know some paper about these concerns?

Thank you!!
