I am compiling a presentation on typology and treatment options for youth in a US urban area where I work (non-professional, non-academic). The aim is to create a mobile mental health crisis team. Two anecdotal impressions I start with are a strong correlation with having a mortally ill or medically fragile family member, and a weaker one (but an identifiable fraction) where the home shows evidence or hoarding (neat or messy).
