I think much of the Reseach Interest Score. It is, as you say, a good additional indicator for characterization of the scientist. As I see it, RIscore is quite consistent with the RGsore. Even so, what interests me mosts is to exchange perspective and viewpoints with colleagues from all over the works. This means that RGsore and RIscore should be seen as a mean to characterize the scientist, not as an end in themselves. It is more important to participate in the discussions of a given thread that to get high scores. But I understand that we want to get high scores

RG score is a measure of activity on Researchgate, thus scientists non active/non participating in discussion on RG will have low RG score, but can have high research interest factor which is calculated on the basis on number of papers/citations/full text reads etc.
