Hi Everyone,

I have read a lot of papers on porosity and keyhole formation mechanism using PBF in AM. I read papers by Teng et al, Bayat et al, Tang et al, to mention a few. Tang et al paper was good but mostly talked about lack of fusion. Bayat et al paper exclusively explain the keyhole formation mechanism in details by considering the thermo-physical properties together with the processing parameters unlike other authors.

But because I am naive and a beginner in these research journey. I am still unable to figure out the flaws with those papers and how I can improve on it or do something other that but relating to porosity generally or keyhole mechanism in various AM materials

I am using these platform to solicit for help, in case any of the scholars here have some suggestions for me as we all know that AM is a new technology with still a thousands of questions to answer for Qualification.
