Paul: It depends on the university. The university where I work is a Teaching institution so the priority is on high-quality teaching. Conducting research is not a top priority. Faculty are only required to publish a research article once every five years. Again, this is only at my university. I know there are college faculty at other universities that are required to conduct a lot of research.
The new prophecies dominating the area of teaching describes the act as doing which involves three basic components; namely, teaching, dialogizing , and theorizing. As such, professional teachers must engage in collaboration and tele-collaboration with other colleagues on the one hand and conducting research on the other hand. Therefore, as you have astutely observed, research is an important indicator reflecting the quality of teaching in general.
Our facilities range from labs, equipments, library services, biotechnology services, and high performance computing to brain imaging. Most of universities make their facilities available to other universities and educational institutions across the world. Universities can sign a collaboration agreement with each other universities to ensure that their researchers have access to the very best unique facilities in the world.

3. Mixed domain ( Where university wanna be research university by keeping money making window open (CW)[ These types of Universities provide fund and try to give required facilities for research work).
Research Facilities include: Lab, Instruments, Publication, Conf. Scholarship, Fund, University own journal, regular workshops etc.
