Due to the relatively high number of my publications, I often get requests for full texts. There are two reasons why I cannot provide full texts. One (the minor reason) is that many of the publications are very old, and back journals are not easy to locate. The main reason , however, is that ResearchGate belongs to the group of "commercial repositories", and I cannot obtain copyright permission. Copies of preprints could be a way out (no permission needed), but, in my case (I retired 14 years ago), preprints are not available. I suggest that interested ResearchGate members should go to their (University)-Library and have a look into the respective back journals. - One of my "detours" is publication in "open" journals" with a good reputation, and the results (number of reads and of citations) turned out to be fine. What would you suggest for my case?
