What if someone reposts (via Facebook or twitter etc.) already illegally shared personal information? Does this second and every next person commit disclosure of personal secrets i.e. commits a crime? or only the person who initially published it? how this case is solved in your country or you think should be solved? please, share any case or article with regard to the mentioned case.
Not much of an expert on this topic, but here is my two cents. I am led to believe that the illegally shared personal information is not an information related to illicit plan or activity. If that is the case, then sharing the information to public is for the greater good (whistleblowing). In that case, the person who exposes the information to the general public is the one committing disclosure of personal secret - which in this case is not a crime. The remaining people who share the information (e.g. via social media) are simply reporting the secret already disclosed by the whistleblower. (This explain the emergency of being the first person to report major breaking news or any news for that matter in the news media world).
In case the personal information is not harmful to the society (e.g. coca-cola formula) but starts getting shared then it is my belief that whoever took that information and made it revealed it to the general public will be the subject of investigation. From that person, the case can be opened and studied. Retracing back where the word of mouth originated can be quite tricky and will require expertise from authorities involved in legal matter. When crimes are committed, in law, a case is run to trace the history of the situation and justice is made by decreeing judgements to the different individual involved in the crime.
