I am looking for the most recent scientific findings concerning the attitudes of religious groups (especially major religions like christian catholic, christian orthodox, christian protestant, muslim, jewish, buddhist, hindu, yet also non-religious or atheist groups) towards the actual or permanent societal controversies (violence, criminal, capital punishment, homosexuality, prostitution, abortion, divorce, premarital sex, euthanasia, etc.), possibly after 2015. Collecting material for a new textbook.

In Romania, on October 6-7, 2018, a referendum was held to change the definition of marriage in the Constitution. The referendum was promoted by the Orthodox Church. His stake was the explicit prohibition of same-sex marriage. Contrary to the expectations of the church and most analysts, turnout in the referendum was low. The referendum failed.
