Hi,

I am conducting multiple regression analysis to identify the predictors of health-related quality of life (HRQoL in women with breast cancer during chemotherapy. Independent variables are age, years of education, overall symptom severity (measured with one item) and perceived social support. The dependent variable is HRQoL. The regression model explained 51.6% variance on HRQoL with all independent variables. Only overall symptom severity predicted HRQoL significantly. I wondered that although the variance is so high, the standardized beta coefficient of overall symptom severity is only -.510. Is there anything wrong? I have attached the supporting files (contains information about assumptions and correlation and regression coefficients) to provide the context. Would you please tell me that whether my assumptions are met for multiple regression analysis or not (I assumed that assumptions are met although I confused about homoscedasticity)? I am going to defend my thesis next week. So please, I request your kind help.

Thank you.
