As a PhD student, I need to connect with international researchers in order to do my PhD thesis. For example, to get a advisor professor from another country or to apply for a Sabbatical Leaves.
Now my question is: Is it right that political tensions between countries obstacle my unrelated political relationship with a researcher in another country?
Could this political tension affect the thinking of a country's scientific community?

I think scientific people are not included ,unfortunately,into political tensions,which means they are not giving enough advise in order to resolve tensions.

I think, it does not matter in education field, particularly in research. You are a researcher and that's enough. You do not have any identity. Only Researcher.
