I found various scales relevant to my study and wanted to collect data on their pre-developed items. But there's this fact whenever I search for the questionnaire sets or items, they are not on internet. I recently needed 60 item Reactions to Impairment and Disability Inventory (RIDI) scale but no luck. It seems like they ghosted me. Suggest to me how to find scales and questionnaires.
I suggest that you contact the authors directly and ask them to send you the scale items, as well as permission to use and/or adapt these items accordingly. At least this is what I do, and the authors are generally very willing to assist.

The most likely to place to find a scale is in the original publication where it was developed. Subsequent uses the scale typically refer to that source, rather than reprinting the scale.
