Is it fine to extract HOMO and LUMO from HOMO= − (E[onset,ox] + 4.66) and LUMO= − (E[onset,red] + 4.66) equation from CV measurements. But I noticed in many reports, researchers are obtaining HOMO from above eqn and use band gap (Eg) (Tauc relation) value to calculate LUMO energy level. Which means HOMO edge from CV measurements and LUMO from optical absorption (Eg)?. I request your kind suggestions and details.
