Architectural periodicals are becoming more specialized and, as a consequence of clearer publishing policies, they are being included in well-known academic databases and reaching better indexing. Traditionally architecture has been disseminated through either research journals or magazines, both being differently appreciated by scholars. Which are your reference periodicals and why?

Thanks for your answer, Marie. I totally agree with you, I also strongly support golden open access policies. Indeed your reply opens another debate... Traditionally well-known journals are shifting to open access policies (generally green open access), and this is a consequence of institutional pressure. However, golden open access journals are still not frequent in indexing lists.
Thanks as well for letting me know about FORMakademisk (although didn't find information in English), the FOOTPRINT journal is a strong periodical which articles I have always appreciated.
You have to go to 'change language' on your right hand side and than :D after selecting English press 'Bytt Sprok' - a bit out of concept but the journal is great! There are some more, that are indexed and still golden open access. However, even if not, we have to fight and not make idiots of our selves... It is totaly absurd, that we are motivated by public money to publish in scopus and web of science indexed journals, so they can feed the money out of the resource of funding again. There are high quality journals to publish who just give a fuck...
