I am working on fabricating anti-bacterial polymer surface using surface modification techniques. I would like to understand whether substantial reduction in bacterial adhesion on to polymeric surface (generally which are being used for catheters) is helpful to reduce infection risk or complete prevention of bacterial adhesion can only be helpful solution ?
