Hello there, I am going to be a third year PhD student with a project that encompasses biotechnology, microbiology, and sustainability. Does anyone have any recommendations for a conference (held in the United States) that focuses on one or more of these disciplines? I would be looking to attend sometime in the year 2020. Thanks!

There is an annual event "ASM Microbe" (www.asm.org) in US which I have been invited almost every year but never had a chance to attend. The last one was on 20-24th of June 2019, San Fransisco. You may check their website to look for other events.

Yes I know about ASM but never got a chance to attend the conference.
Try SIMB (Society for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology) conference. You will meet great industry experts and the people who literally wrote the books in some areas you are working on there. Its a good place to network and learn the cutting edge science. At least, that was my experience. Good luck!
